Chef Jason Smith and his wife Lauren dreamed of owning a special restaurant.

In 2006 they opened the doors to 18 Seaboard.

Chef Smith committed to lead a group and serve contemporary Southern inspired dishes with over 60% of ingredients sourced from North Carolina farms, ranches, fishmongers and dairies.

A winner of multiple awards from numerous media outlets, including best chef , best restaurant, best power lunch, and best service, 18 Seaboard was a favorite destination for business meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and uncountable important occasions.

With heavy hearts and long discussions, we made the decision to close 18 Seaboard.

The great news is we’re still here and will continue to be an integral part of the community and do business as usual at our other restaurants.
