Chef Jason Smith and his wife Lauren dreamed of owning a special restaurant. In 2006 they opened the doors to 18 Seaboard. Chef Smith leads a culinary group committed to serving contemporary Southern inspired dishes, with over 60% of ingredients sourced from North Carolina farms, ranches, fishmongers and dairies.
A winner of multiple awards from numerous media outlets, including best chef , best restaurant, best power lunch, and best service, 18 Seaboard is a favorite destination for business meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations or any special occasion.
We are open seven-days-a-week for lunch, brunch and dinner. We also offer seasonal outdoor, roof-top mezzanine seating that boasts unmatched views of Raleigh's skyline.
In addition to traditional restaurant dining, 18 Seaboard also hosts larger parties for special events in one of our two private spaces: the spacious Gallery at Seaboard or the more intimate Private Dining Room.
